If you’ve got epic Wisconsin photos, Joseph Gordon-Levitt wants them.

The actor, writer and director has requested photos from across the country via Facebook for a “Our United States” project he’s working on.

“Let’s celebrate our great American states! Check out the open prompts to participate and create something to share what you love about your state, ”said the project preview on Gordon-Levitt’s HITRECORD website.

HITRECORD is an open online community for the creative collaboration that Gordon-Levitt founded and directs.

On July 2, Gordon-Levitt posted on Facebook:

“Hello, Wisconsin! I’m looking for some cool photos from Wisconsin for a new project. Post your photos and find out more about the project here: https://hitrecord.app.link/statepics.”

And with over 6.8 million Facebook followers, the actor’s post generated over 860 comments and hundreds of reactions.

When you follow the post’s link, a prompt will ask people for photos taken in their state to show what makes it special. There is no limit on the number of photos a person can submit.

On July 4, Gordon-Levitt returned to Facebook to say that he was “still looking for some pictures of Wisconsin.”
