As these fake drafts are updated throughout the season, we here at Buckeyes Wire will be keeping a close eye on the movements of eligible Ohio State prospects.

The Buckeyes are funneling a ton of talent into the NFL and the 2023 NFL Draft could be even more loaded with Ohio State prospects than most due to the insane talent on the offensive side of football. It’s time to dive into the latest first-round simulation of Luke Easterling and the Ohio State prospects he selected.

No. 5 overall: New York Giants – CJ Stroud, QB

It’s a bit of a shame that CJ Stroud fell slightly from third to fifth, but he has time to bounce back this season. Maybe Stroud can breathe life into the Giants’ outdated offense.

No. 7 overall: Jacksonville Jaguars – Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR

Adam Cairns – USA TODAY Sports

Jaxon Smith-Njigba was injured against Notre Dame, but he should return healthy and move up to the draft board soon. Imagining Smith-Njigba with Trevor Lawrence is a heavenly match, however.

No. 27 overall: Los Angeles Chargers – Paris Johnson Jr, OT

Adam Cairns – USA TODAY Sports

Paris Johnson Jr. was placed in the top five last simulation, but falling to Los Angeles isn’t the worst thing as pairing him with Rashawn Slater would take this franchise to the next level.
